Text Book: Samskrita Bhasha Deepika-I (Available in both Kannada and English)
This examination introduces the students to the Samskrit alphabet, and gives an introduction to noun forms and verb forms. There are short simple lessons using these forms, which will help the student to develop comprehension. There is also a grammar portion covering the basic svara sandhis, and a poetry section with subhashitas and stotras.
Exam Fees: 20.00
Duration of the exam: 2.30hrs (10.00 AM to 12.30 PM)
Marks: 100 (Min. passing marks – 35)
In the Prathama Examination, students should approximately answer for 60 marks in Sanskrit. Rest of the answers can be in Sanskrit or Kannada or English.
